MINIDISC PLAYBACK
Make sure the HOLD switch has been released (19 page)
÷ When the HOLD function is engaged, the unit will not respond to operation of the keys.
Normal playback (20 to 22 pages)
1 Plug in the remote control unit and headphones.
÷ Insert the plug fully.
2 Insert a recorded MiniDisc.
(1) Slide the OPEN slider in the direction shown by the arrow to open the disc holder.
(2) Insert the arrow end of the MiniDisc first, while pushing the center of the Minidisc.
(3) Close the disc holder.
3 Press the 3/ 7 key.
To adjust the volume (22 page)
Press the VOLUME + key to increase the volume. Press the VOLUME – key to reduce the volume.
To stop playback (24 page)
Press the 3/ 7 key.
÷ After stopping playback or turning off the power, if the 3/ 7 key is pressed, playback will resume from the point
where playback was stopped.
If the MiniDisc is changed, playback will start at the first track.
÷ When about 3 minutes have passed after playback has stopped, the unit will automatically turn off the power.
To turn off the power (24 page)
Press the 3/ 7 key for 2 seconds while the unit is in the stop mode.
To remove a MiniDisc (24 page)
Slide the OPEN slider in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove MD.
