11. Press the Op era te bu tton to tu rn on the p rinter. When the
p rinter receives d ata, it au tom atically load s the p ap er before
p rinting.
When u sing continu ou s p ap er, you can u se the tear-off fu nction
to tear off p rinted p ages and save the blank p ages that are u su ally
w asted betw een p rint jobs. For m ore inform ation, see the next
section.

Y ou can advance the paper to the loading position by pressing the
Loa d / Ejec t button.
A lways make sure there is at least one more sheet than required,
because continuous paper may not feed properly if it is not fed
through the sprocket.

Use the knob on the right side of the printer only to clear paper
jams when the printer is off. Otherwise, you may damage the
printer or cause it to lose the top-of-form position.
Using the tea r-off function
After you have finished p rinting, you can u se the tear-off fu nction
to ad vance continu ou s p ap er on the tractor to the tear-off ed ge of
the p rinter. You can then easily tear off p rinted sheets. When you
resu m e p rinting, the p rinter au tom atically feed s p ap er back to the
load ing p osition so you can save p ap er that w ou ld norm ally be
lost betw een d ocu m ents.
You can u se the tear-off fu nction in tw o w ays: by p ressing the
Tea r Off/ Bin bu tton on the control p anel, or by u sing the control
p anel's d efau lt-setting m od e or the EPSON Rem ote! u tility to
