6.1 General information
Insufficient ventilation
Risk of fire!
The device may overheat or start burning in the case of insufficient ventilation.
• Ensure that the place of use of the device is sufficiently ventilated. Read the information in
Danger of burns resulting from hot surfaces
This symbol indicates a risk of burns from hot surfaces.
• Take appropriate protective measures, for example, wear protective gloves.
• Wait at least 60 minutes after switching off the heat source before starting work on hot parts
Impermissible repair, maintenance and servicing of the device
Repair and maintenance work may only be performed by personnel authorized by Siemens.
Impermissible spare parts and accessories
Damage to device and danger of explosion in hazardous areas!
The use of inadmissible spare parts and accessories means that the device will no longer be safe
to operate.
• Only use original accessories and original spare parts!
• Observe all relevant installation and safety information described in the instructions for the

Risk of electric shock when the enclosure is opened or enclosure parts are removed.
• Before you open the enclosure or remove enclosure parts, de-energize the device.
• If maintenance measures in an energized state are necessary, observe the particular
