7.1 Neither there is prompt tone for
switching on the translator nor the
button light is on
The battery is empty, please recharge promptly.
7.2 The App always displays binding when first
using the translator?
When you first use the translator, please make sure you click
Allow to match Bluetooth if you are using Android phone.

7.3 The translator device cannot be
connected or fails to connect?
Please make sure the translator device is charged and turned
on, and the translator must be nearby. If it still cannot be
connected, please reboot the device.
7.4 The translator device cannot record?
Android phone: please go to "Settings – Apps permission"
to see if the "Record audio" permission of Philips Translator
App is on.
IOS device: for initial binding of IOS device, you need to go
to "System – Bluetooth" to connect Bluetooth, only when
you are sure that both the two devices named "VTR5080-
4845" are connected can the translator record.
7.5 Lost words when recording?
It will take short time from clicking translator device to start-
ing speech translation function, please start to speak after
you hear the "bi" sound of the translator.
