Receiving a Fax While Making a Copy

If someone tries to send you a document while the MultiPASS 1000
is copying, follow these steps to receive the document:

After receiving the fax, you can start the copying procedure over
again.
See Chapter 7, Receiving Fax Documents, for more details on
receiving documents manually.

Preparing Documents and Making Copies
Press .
STOP
Wait for the print head to stop moving (if necessary).
Gently open the operation panel.
Do not force it; it opens only slightly.
Remove the document you were copying.
Close the operation panel.
Press gently until it clicks into place.
Press the
ANS HOOK UP/MANUAL
The light comes on to show you that the
MANUAL
MultiPASS 1000 is set for manual receiving.
Now lift up the handset and press
incoming document.
