ServiceName Menu

Making changes to this menu is only necessary if Network Type (described on page 20) is set
to DVB-S, DVB-C, or DVB-T. These settings apply to the SE encoder, rather than to an
individual preset. Use the Service Information menu to view or change options. Table 8
describes each option.

Description
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set each character
of the Service Name. The Service Name is transmitted in
the service information and can be up to 29 characters.
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set each character
of the Network. The Network Name is transmitted in the
service information and can be up to 16 characters.
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the 5-digit
customer number (00001 to 65535). This number is
assigned by the DVB service.
Use this option to set the Universal Time Cordinated (UTC)
date and time to generate the Time and Date Table (TDT).
The transmittal occurs only if the Network Type (described
on page 20) is set to DVB-S, DVB-C, or DVB-T. This option
uses the following format:
DD-MMM-YYYY / hh:mm:ss
DD
:
2-digit number (01 to 31) that represents
the a day of the month.
MMM
:
3-character word (JAN to DEC) that
represents the a month of the year.
Use the up and down arrows to cycle
through the 12 months.
YYYY
:
4-digit number (0000 to 9999) that
represents the year.
hh:mm:ss
:
Time in hours, minutes, and seconds that
range from 00:00:00 (for midnight) to
23:59:59 (one second before midnight).
