4.2.1.2 Systems With Remotely Mounted M2 Converters
Systems fitted with remotely mounted M2 converters utilize the 686B804 Primary connection board
stacked underneath a 686B790 customer connection board. The 686B804 contains connection pads
to bring electode and coil leads up to the customer area. Also, each electrode has an energy limiting
barrier resistor in series with it. Thus, for remote systems using M2 converters, a simplified cabling
scheme between primary and secondary consists of a circuit common, a safety ground, two electrode
leads, and two coil leads.
