Problems and Solutions
Problem
Battery will not
recharge
"No Service"
is displayed
Possible Cause(s)
The am bient air
tem perature exceeds
113°F (45°C ) or is less
than 32°F (0°C ).
C ontact betw een your
battery and recharger is
incom plete.
The battery has not been
charged for a long tim e
and has been deeply
discharged.
The battery is defective.
Signal is too w eak.
Solution(s)
Low er or raise the air
tem perature; allow the
phone to cool off or w arm
up before recharging.
D isconnect your charger
from the phone and then try
reconnecting it.
A ttem pt to recharge the
battery. It m ay take a few
m inutes for recharging to
begin. If the battery w ill not
recharge, replace it.
R eplace the battery.
Note: It's norm al for a
battery to slow ly lose its
ability to hold a charge.
M ove to another location,
or w ait a few m inutes if you
are traveling in an
autom obile.
If you are in a building,
m ove near a w indow or go
outside to send or receive
calls.
Note: If you know you are
in a cellular service area
and the phone continues to
indicate "N o S ervice",
contact your w ireless
service provider.
