Kinds of Probes

Probe Type
C36 – Convex
C55 – Convex
E72 – Micro Convex
L76 – Linear
C31 – Convex
VE5 – Linear

Usage of the Probes

Always select a probe that provides optimum focal depth
and penetration for patient size and application. Proper
orientation of the probes produce best results.
The Linear probe (L76) is a high frequency probe used
for imaging small parts and superficial structures.
The Convex probe (C36, C55, C31) is used for
OB/GYN, abdomen and cardiology scans.
The Micro Convex probe (E72) is the intracavitary
probe used for early pregnancy, follicular studies and
urology applications.
The Linear probe (VE5) is used in veterinary
applications.
