Connecting the Magnetic Antenna Assembly (Optional)

Complete the following procedure to install the Magnetic Mount Antenna on the rooftop of a vehicle.
The length of the Antenna cable is approximately 12 feet.
It is recommended that you use an (optional) N-Type SMA to MMCX adapter with your antenna
cable, and then connect the MMCX directly to the card.

Installing the Magnetic Mount Antenna Assembly

The graphic below depicts the Magnetic Mount Antenna Cable with antenna (Circle C), the MMCX

adapter, and the WMC6300 card. Circles A and B designate the required cable connection points.

Attach the Magnetic Antenna (shown in Circle C, Figure 3-2) to the metal rooftop of the vehicle so that

the antenna is in a vertical orientation.
Route the remaining 12 foot cable, (with the connected adapter cable and the WMC card) as required, to

arrive at the Host Computer.
