Status message
Displays a message indicating the processing status. For
example, the "UPDATING" text message and a rotating
icon are displayed during screen updating.

Simple property indication
Displays the properties of the clip at the cursor position.
This is displayed when the "THUMBNAIL SIZE" (➝ page
94) menu item is set to "SMALL."
You can select the information to display from the menu.

When there are more characters than can be displayed, only
the range of characters that can be displayed are shown.

Thumbnail scroll bar
Indicates the location of the currently displayed thumbnail
among all of the thumbnails.

Unplayable indicator
Indicates a clip that cannot be played because, for exam-
ple, the frequency differs from that of the system.

Battery level indicator
The icon is displayed when the unit is powered by the
battery, and the is displayed when it is powered us-
ing the AC adaptor.
The indicator changes in the order of
➝ ➝ ➝
as the battery level decreases.
When there is no battery power remaining,
flashes.

Rec during upload status indicator
The rec during upload status indicator indicates the status
of up to 100 clips registered in the upload list as follows.
Displayed until uploading starts.
(Gray)
Displayed during upload.
(Yellow)
Displayed when uploading is completed
normally and registered in the upload list.
(Green)
Displayed when a transfer error occurred
during uploading and registered in the
upload list.
(Red)
