it gets too f a s t due to h i g h - f r e q u e n c y signal
measurement.
Note : It may happen to occur t h a t measurement
is delayed or the display is unstable. In this case,
refer to section 5 - 4 ' Display D e s c r i p t i o n ' .

Press A T T x 10 switch ( _ • * . ) according to input
signal levels. If the internal attenuator circuit is
enabled, input signal to the C H A N N E L A juck is
attenuated into 1/10 before reaching the counter.
T h i s attenuates noise-superimposed input signals.
In addition, the attenuation circuit preprocesses a
signal w i t h rather a high amplitude into a reasonai
level. A s a result, accurate counting is assured.

Press L P F ( l o w pass f i l t e r ) switch <© ( - M L )
eliminate noise signal components. If the internal
L P F circuit function is enabled, the input signal to
the C H A N N E L A juck is handled f i r s t
circuit (about 100kHz) and then input to the
counter. Therefore, the counter processes input
signals w i t h o u t h i g h - f r e q u e n c y noises only. A s a
result, accurate l o w - f r e q u e n c y measurement is
assured.

Display is held a s it is. If pressed again, a new

If the s w i t c h is released, a new measurement cycle

Event-Input Total Count Measurement
In the Event Input T o t a l measurement mode, the
t o t a l number of events generated during a fixed
certain period is measured. T h i s measurement
period can be set by using the f r o n t panel switch
or the rear panel gate signal input juck.
The signal input circuit and the counter are
coupled w i t h capacitance ( A C ) , which requires
a t least 5 events per second to be generated.
