G E N E R A L

The F C - 7 5 8 is a m u l t i - f u n c t i o n a l counter. It can be
used to measure periods and to count event inputs (event
t o t a l count) a s well as to measure frequencies of up to
1.3GHz.
The F C - 7 5 8 counter has t w o input c h a n n e l s : Channel A
and Channel B.
Channel A is designed a s an input circuit
w i t h a 1.2Megaohm resistor and used to measure
frequencies f r o m 5 Hz to 100 MHz.
Channel B is designed a s an input circuit
w i t h a BOohtn resistor and used to measure frequencies
f r o m 80 M H z to 1.3 G H z .
The F C - 7 5 8 counter outputs measurement d a t a to a
high-brightness and 8—digit L E D display. Its display
resolution is 0.1 Hz ( M A X . ) a t up to 10 M H z . The
display function enables the users to continue
d a t a measuring operations on a ' L o o k and G o ' basis.
Use of t h i s product would be an advantage in measur-
ing the frequencies in the relatively low frequency range
because a period measuring function (unit:microseconds)
and an e a s i l y - c o n t r o l l e d event t o t a l count function are
supported. Note t h a t this event t o t a l count can be
controlled externally w i t h r e a r - p a n e l gate signal or
through f r o n t - p a n e l
The F C - 7 5 8 is provided w i t h a self-check function.
The function enables the user to check and confirm
major measurement functions.
The panel display portion has several e a s y - t o - u s e

blanking function, measurement unit display

The F C - 7 5 8 uses a highly stable c r y s t a l oscillator as
its time base, The time base timer can continue stable
oscillation even when the power supply voltage
fluctuates or in hard temperature environment. A s a
result, h i g h - a c c u r a c y measurement operations remain
there
unaffected.
The F C - 7 5 8 counter has the above functions. T h i s
