S-9 Oil becomes contaminated quickly
General causes why oil becomes contaminated quickly
• Entry of exhaust gas due to internal wear
• Clogging of lubrication passage
• Improper fuel
• Improper oil used
• Operation under excessive load
Confirm recent repair history
Degree of use of machine
Engine oil must be added more frequently
Non-specified oil is being used
Color of exhaust gas
Amount of blow-by gas
When oil filter is inspected, metal particles are found
When exhaust pipe is removed, inside is found to be dirty
with oil
Engine oil temperature rises quickly
When compression pressure is measured, it is found to be low
When breather element is inspected directly, hose is
broken or is found to be clogged with dirty oil
When oil filter is inspected directly, it is found to be clogged
When oil cooler is inspected directly, it is found to be clogged
