WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
,20 Do not load the flammable items or liquids such as Alcohol,
Gasoline or any gasses, failure to take this precaution could
result in explosion and malfunction of the sterilizer.
Use only vented closures do not use screw caps or rubber
stoppers with crimped seals to reduce the risk of item's ex-
plosions and malfunction of the sterilizer.
Use only Type 1 boro-silicated glass bottles do not use ordi-
nary glass jugs or any container not designed for steriliza-
tion.

nary plastic jugs or any container not designed for steriliza-

.24 Do not pack items into the container or bags that will not let
steam through and do not wrap items up with the sheets that
will not let steam through.

,25 Never use the unit to sterilize cultures or chemical solutions
containing elements (salt strong acids, strong alkalis). If it is
used that could cause the inside of the chamber (made of
stainless steel) to corrode. Corrosion can cause the unit to
malfunction prematurely. Also, when finished using the unit
for the day, discard all left over water inside the chamber,
wipe the inside of the chamber clean and allow it to dry.
^26 when placing items in a bag for sterilization, always put the
bag in a stainless steel basket before inserting it into the
chamber. If bags are put directly into the chamber, they
could block the sensor and interfere with accurate heat con-
trol.
