Event Notifications (optional)

Your Motorola homesight Software features the ability to notify you by e-mail messaging, text messaging or both whenever an event that you are interested in (for
example, a door opening, water appearing on the basement floor, or the temperature dropping too low) has been triggered by a device. Setting up your system to
send email/text notification messages requires the following steps:
1.
Setting up the SMTP
network connection to your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) outgoing mail server
2.
Defining the e-mail addresses
3.
Defining the cell phone addresses
4. For each Event Schedule of interest, specify the e-mail/text address that will receive notification messages
Step 1 is typically done once when you first set up notification, and it will usually not need to be changed unless you switch to a different ISP.
Step 2 and Step 3 are performed once when you first set up notification, and may be repeated whenever you want to add new addresses or change a currently-
defined address.
