About this task
NOTE:
This product is intended to be used in CBN (Common Bonding Network) applications.
Steps
1. Strip the insulation from the end of the US NEC green/yellow (European IEC green with a yellow strip) wire, exposing
approximately 0.175 inches (4.5 mm) of copper wire.
2. Using a hand-crimping tool, crimp the 90-degree ring-tongue terminal of M4 stud size (not supplied) and suitable for 10
AWG insulated copper wire to the US NEC green/yellow (European IEC green with a yellow strip) wire.
3. Remove the M4 nut and associated hardware from grounding post/stud.
4. Connect the safety ground to the grounding post/stud using the M4 nut, spring washer and locking/star washer.
5. An individual safety ground wire should be connected to the power supply and to the PowerEdge XR-series heater.
