Unexpected behaviour

Issue
The power level
selected is flashing.
The sensor controls
show increased
sensitivity or fail to
react.
The wok has switched
itself off automatically.
The cooking zone is not
working in the usual
way on the power
setting selected.
The Booster has
deactivated early
automatically.

Cause and remedy
The wok pan is not in position.
 Place the wok pan in position.
The sensitivity level of the sensor controls has
changed.
 Make sure that there is no direct light (from the sun
or from an artificial source) falling onto the
SmartLine element. The area surrounding the
SmartLine element must not be too dark.
 Take any pans off the SmartLine element and wipe
away any food deposits.
Ensure that there is nothing covering the entire
SmartLine element unit or sensor controls.
 Interrupt the power supply to the SmartLine
element for approx. 1 minute.
 If the problem persists after power has been
restored, please contact your Miele dealer.
It has been operated for too long.
 Switch the wok back on again (see "Safety
features" – "Safety switch off").
The overheating protection mechanism has been
activated.
