Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for using the headphones. These head-
phones comply with statutory safety regulations. Improper use may result in personal injury
and property damage.

Risk of hearing damage

CAUTION
Danger due to excessive volume!
Loud music can lead to hearing damage.
Take care when using these headphones. Using headphones for long periods and at
high volume levels can lead to hearing damage. Always start by setting a low volume
and then adjust it to a comfortable level. Always use headphones in such a way that
you can still hear ambient noise.

Risk of accidents

WARNING
Risk of impaired perception!
Acoustic warning and indication signals and ambient noise can sound different while
you are wearing these headphones. Make sure you are aware of how these signals
deviate in their sound so that you can recognise the signals in the appropriate situa-
tions.
Do not use the headphones while driving a vehicle, riding a bicycle, operating ma-
chinery or in any other situation in which impaired perception of ambient noise could
put you or other people in danger. Please also observe the statutory provisions and
regulations of the country in which you are using the headphones.

Notes on the radio interface

Switch off the device if you are in an aeroplane, hospital, operating theatre or in the
vicinity of a electronic medical system. The transmitted radio waves can affect the
functionality of sensitive devices.
Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator,
as the proper functioning of the pacemaker or the implanted defibrillator could be
affected by radio waves.
