2. INSTALLATION AND WIRING
2.5 Main circuit terminals
Terminal name
Connect these terminals to a three-phase squirrel cage motor or a PM
motor.
Connected to terminals P/+ and N/-. To retain the fault display and fault
output, or to use the converter unit (FR-CC2), remove the jumpers
installed in terminals R1/L11 and S1/L21, and apply external power
supply to these terminals.
When using a separate power supply connected to terminals R1/L11
and S1/L21, the necessary power capacity is 80 VA.
Connect the converter unit (FR-CC2), brake unit (FR-BU2), or high
power factor converter (FR-HC2).
For earthing (grounding) the inverter chassis. Be sure to earth (ground)
the inverter.
Terminal name
Connect these terminals to the commercial power supply. (When the
converter unit is connected to the 12-phase rectifier power transformer,
refer to the Instruction Manual of the FR-CC2.)
Connected to the AC power supply terminals R/L1 and S/L2. To retain
the fault display and fault output, remove the jumpers across terminals
R/L1 and R1/L11 and across S/L2 and S1/L21, and apply external
power to these terminals.
When using a separate power supply connected to terminals R1/L11
and S1/L21, the necessary power capacity is 80 VA.
Connected to the inverter terminals P/+ and N/-.
For earthing (grounding) the converter unit chassis. This product must
be earthed (grounded).
