One single-pole MCB that disconnects the secondary circuits from the pole X1 of SIT is also appropriate.
It is advised to equip the MCB with an auxiliary contact for signaling.
A.2 Fuse rated data
An appropriate fuse can be installed close to the X1 terminal of SIT instead of the MCB. There is no need
to install a fuse at the terminal X4 of SIT because it is grounded.
The rated data of the fuse are listed below:
1.
Fast acting (F) fuse
2.
Voltage rating: 600 V AC
3.
Interrupting rating: 50 kA
4.
Current rating 5 A
An UL class K5 fuse can be used; check that the fuse properly protects the cables that are wired to the
LV terminals X1-X4 of SIT.
