Question: Why can't I use a SD card or a SmartMedia card?

Click Safely Remove Hardware icon (
the SD card slot and SmartMedia card slot, shown by Safely remove USB Mass
Storage Device- Drives (X:,X:) appear. (X is a drive letter of the SD card slot or the
SmartMedia card slot.) If not, the devices are disabled. To enable them, restart the
computer.

Confirm the computer is turned on.
