Tape Slack:
Use
a
pencil
or similar object to take
up
the
slack
as
shown.
lf
a
loose
tape
is used,
this
may result
in
the tape becoming tangled in the rotating parts
of
the
unit.
Exposed end

Do not
touch or
pull out the
tape.

Do not insert a cassette into the cassette slot
with a
tape
lock fixed on
it.
o
Do not place cassettes near anything
magnetic.
Otherwise, sound quality
will
be adversely affect-
ed.

Do not use C-120 tapes or endless cassettes.
The
tape
may be
caught
inside the
set.
o
lf
the label is coming otf the cassette, fix it
back
securely on the cassette before inserting
it.
Otherwise,
the cassette may be not properly
op-
erated.
o
Keep cassettes in
their cases to protect
the
tapes from dust.
o
Do not expose cassettes to direct sunlight.
o
Avoid keeping
cassettes
in
a hot, humid place.
For DCC Tapes
DCC tape is different from the analog cassette
tape.

is completely sealed, and it tape and
hub
holes
are protected by the slider. This design
en-
sures that dust and
dirt (other than when
loading)
will
not enter the cassette housing and cause
dropouts which can cause in poor quality of
digital
recording.
