Function and operation ([
Sets the manual or automatic setting for the transmission matrix/transmission gamma of the
HDMI signal.
Off: Select to use Matrix/Gamma set in the HD, SD or DVI/HDMI Computer menu.
[On]: Select to set Matrix/Gamma automatically according to the input signal.
Note
When HDMI Auto is set to On and the signal of which the format is RGB and transmission
gamma is xvYCC is input, transmission gamma is set to the value fixed inside the monitor.
As the BVM-L170 is equipped with the wider color space LED backlight, the signal can be
displayed (emulation) in the color gamut (color space and gamma) selected in the Emulation
menu.
Sets the used color gamut (color space and gamma).
BVM SMPTE-C: Displays in the color gamut of BVM-A24 SMPTE-C phosphor CRT.
BVM EBU: Displays in the color gamut of BVM-A24 EBU phosphor CRT.
ITU-R BT.709: Displays in the color gamut of three primary colors chromaticity point
provided by ITU-R BT.709.

D-Cine*
: Displays in the color gamut of three primary colors chromaticity point provided
by SMPTE RP 431-2.
L170 Native: Displays in the color gamut of the BVM-L170 individual three primary
colors chromaticity point. This is the widest color space setting of the signal reproduced
by the BVM-L170.
S-GAMUT: Sets to display the color gamut of the wide color space mode S-GAMUT,
which is available for the F23 Digital Cinematography Camera.
*1Three primary colors chromaticity point provided by SMPTE RP 431-2 is not covered in full.
Note
When User LUT is set to Applied and the LUT data are not those for the color gamut setting
of the monitor according to the specified color gamut, you cannot set Emulation.
Sets whether or not to apply the user data for the Emulation setting ([Not Applied] or
Applied).
Notes
• If the user data are not prepared, you cannot set User LUT.
• When the user data set in the User LUT Data menu are deleted in the Delete LUT menu
(page 59) of the User LUT menu of the Display Setting menu, Not Applied is selected
automatically even if Applied is selected.
Selects the user data.
You can select from User1, User2, User3, User4 or User5. [--- (no setting)]
Note
The user data without a LUT data file is not displayed and cannot be selected.
For the user data (User1 to User5) settings, see User LUT menu (page 59) of the Display
Setting menu.
The read LUT data file name is displayed.
When the LUT data are not those for the color gamut setting of the monitor according to the
specified color gamut, the reference color gamut for making the LUT data is displayed. When
the LUT data are set to retain the color gamut setting of the monitor (Keep data), "---" is
displayed.
Notes
• When User LUT is set to Applied, Emulation is forcibly set to the color gamut displayed in
this menu inside the monitor.
• When the LUT data is the Keep data, the Emulation setting can be changed.
Sets the marker preset data.
You can select from Marker1 to Marker5. [Marker1]
For setting the marker, see the Marker Setting menu (page 61) of the Display Function menu.
