Adjusting the Track Tension
There should be 7 cm (2-3/4 inches) between the
tension nut and the back of the tension tube
44). If not, adjust the track tension using the following
procedure:

Park the machine on a level surface, engage the
parking brake, and lower the loader arms.

Shut off the engine and remove the key.
3.
Lift/support the side of the unit to be worked on
so that the track is off the ground.

Using a 1/2-inch drive ratchet, turn the
tensioning screw counterclockwise until the
distance between the tension nut and the back
of the tension tube

Replacing the Tracks
Replacing Narrow-Width Tracks
When the tracks are badly worn, replace them.

You have narrow-width tracks if the front
tension wheels are mounted inside a fork on the end
of the tension tube

Shut off the engine and remove the key.

so that the track is 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4 inches)
off the ground.

drive tension by turning the tensioning screw
