CCD Adjustment

@ Preliminary Adjustment
Turn
on
dip switch
1 and
the
power switch.
Check
the output
waveforms
of
TP1 and TP3 with an oscilloscope.
Oscilloscope Range
0.5msec 2V/div

Make
a preliminary adjustment of the lens focus, so that the
CCD output can be obtained which corresponds
nearly to the
reference pulse width within the read-out range.
Set the gain control
at Min
position.
Keep the light volume
adjustment plate in the open state. Fix each screw lightly.
Short-circuit R223 and R226 of CCD PWB. Keep the optic axis at
lower than the saturation point (to ensure no variation).

Make the adjustment so that the checkers of the white sheet or
the marking will become deepest against the level of white. Fix
the lens by tightening the screws.

the mark in the center of pattern ©
comes
down
to the
lowest
posi-
tion.
When
viewed
from the lens
side, the read-out position is 8 mm
closer to the board from the area
brightened by reflection of fluores-
cent lamp.
