Step 2 Installing N8154-27 in Server
1.
Exit from all the application programs and shutdown the system.
2.
Turn off the power of the server and disconnect all the power cords from the receptacles.
3.
Remove the left side cover and open the front mask from the server following the User's Guide of
the server.
4.
If a hard disk drive is already installed, disconnect the interface cable and power cable
connected to the drive, remove the screws used to install the 2.5-inch disk cage or 3.5-inch
fixed disk cage, and then remove the drive.
5.
Remove the two drive carrier fixing screws from the front of the server.
6.
Push the side of the tray and draw out it.
Remove the remaining the three drive carriers, too.
Keep the removed drive carriers and screws for future use.
