4.1 Relative Humidity and Temperature

NOTE
Due to the differential in temperature / humidity between the clinical room and the room
below, the floor creates condensation within the gantry / patient table resulting in part
failure or rusting inside the gantry / patient table.
For systems that are planned to be installed on higher level (second floor or above), the
temperature and humidity of the rooms that are directly below the gantry room should be
maintained same as the exam room requirement. Failure to do so will void the equipment
warranty. Avoid above grade installations where the temperature is high in the area below
the gantry / table cables exit if at all possible.
