2.4. De-interlace, scaler and micro-controller – PW106B
The de-interlace processor accepts parallel digital ITU-R BT.601 data with
H/V sync. It will converter the signal from interlace to non-interlace, form at is
YPBPR 4:2:2.
2.5.Scaler and Micro-controller
1. The CPU was em bedded in PW106, used for controlling whole electronic
boards and peripheral d e vices and IR receiv ing. For essen t ial calculation and
storage, it has been set up with DDR SDRAM, Flash memory and EEPROM .
The DDR SDAM is responsible for calculation. Flash memory is stored the
system software.
2. Scaler
PW106B can process dual channel d ata: graphic port and video port data.
It receives data with YPBPR 4:2:2 (video input) as well as RGB 4:4:4 (
g raphic input) .
3 . EEPROM
T h e ser i es EEPROM UD5 (A T24C128, 128k bits) stores the syste m information,
included factor y and user data.
4. RS232 Driver/Receiver
This LCD TV can use RS232 download connector to download new
software or contro l this LCD TV by RS232 commands. The RS232
Driver/Receiver U502 is used to drive / receive RS232 signals between CPU
and download connector
5. IR receiv er:
The front IR receiver accepts IR signal from front side direction. The carrier
frequency is 38 KHz.
