Place the Grain and Rice Cooker on a dry, flat, and level surface such as a countertop or
table.

Wash the Ceramic Pot, Inner Lid, Steam Collector, Water Tank, and Water Tank Lid in hot,
sudsy water. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Ensure the Grain and Rice Cooker is at least 4" (10 cm) away from any walls, cabinets, or
objects on the counter or table. Allow space above the Grain and Rice Cooker to open the
Lid and avoid steam buildup on cabinets.
5.
Attach the Power Cord to the Grain and Rice Cooker.
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or
electrical shock.

Plug in the Grain and Rice Cooker.

PRODUCT USAGE

1.
Gather the desired ingredients to be cooked and fill the Water Tank to the Max (maximum)
fill line with the desired liquid. Liquid can also be added directly to the Ceramic Pot before
cooking.
NOTE: Starchy foods such as rice are recommended to rinse thoroughly before cooking
for optimal cooking performance. Rinse the rice until water is no longer cloudy or for
15-30 seconds.

Turn the Power Switch to the ON (I) position, located on the left side of the appliance.

From the Select mode screen, select the desired food to be cooked.
4.
Select the food type and follow the prompts to add the desired food. No measuring cups
are needed. The Grain and Rice Cooker will automatically sense the weight of the food
when pouring it into the Ceramic Pot. Select NEXT.
TIP: While on the weight screen, the units of measure (cups/oz/g) can be changed on the
screen by tapping the 3 dots on the right.
NOTE: For best results, level the food inside the pot for even cooking.

Follow the prompts to finalize your cooking selections. Select the food preparation, liquid,
and texture to the desired cooking preference. Selections can be made by tapping on the
screen and scrolling or leaving it as is before proceeding to cook.
6.
Select START to begin the cooking cycle or DELAYED COOK if a later cooking completion
time is preferred.
NOTE: DELAYED COOK can be programmed to start up to 24 hours later.
7.
The Grain and Rice Cooker will automatically dispense water into the pot and start
cooking, and provide an estimated cooking time to help plan when to serve the meal.
8.
When cooking is about to complete, a countdown timer will appear and audibly notify you
when cooking has been completed. When finished, the Grain and Rice Cooker will
automatically switch to KEEP WARM mode for 6 hours.
IMPORTANT: The Ceramic Pot will be hot. To remove, use pot holders.
