SERVICE POINTS
1. Removal of auto mechanism, tone arm, DD
motor, arm drive motor and belt
First secure the tone arm to the arm rest and then
remove the dust cover, platter and bottom panel.
Remove the above parts as follows.
[Removal of auto mechanism] (Fig. 1 and 2)
(1) Pull out the arm guide. :
(2) Use an. ordinary screwdriver to cause the
snap-in sections (2) of the sensor holder to
float and then press on the outside (direction
indicated by arrow) to remove them.
(3) Detach the size wire.
(4) Remove the shield plate mounting screw (@ (1
req.) and the three auto mechanism screws
@.
[Removal of tone arm]
(1) Remove the auto mechanism following the
procedure above.
(2) Dissolve the soldering around the pick-up
leads and detach.
(3) Remove the two mounting screws @) of the
follow-up plate.
Note: Return and keep the anti-skating scale
at 0".
(4) Remove the two tone arm mounting screws
@. (Fig. 3)
[Removal of DD motor] (Fig. 4)
Remove the four DD motor mounting screws @).
Note: The DD motor comes with two adjust screws
which are locked into position. These screws are
already adjusted and there is no need to readjust
them.
[Removal of arm drive motor]
After removing the belt, pull out the motor together
with the motor rubber.
[Removal of belt] (Fig. 5)
(1) Push down on the stopper in the direction in-
dicated by the arrow and pull out the idle
gear.
(2) Remove the belt after having removed the
worm first.
Note: Take care that grease does not adhere to the
belt. If any has, remove it with a cloth moistened
with ethyl! alcohol.

After securing the tone arm to the arm rest, detach Head shell o 4
the dust cover, platter and bottom panel and then Eee cake
remove the P.W.B. as follows. Getlectue
[Removal of control P.W.B. and switch P.W.B.] Shell weight

of the arrow and remove it. The switch P.W.B. will eartridae
