Shooting with Manual Aperture Control
1. Place the EE changeover lever to MANU.
• Shooting against light
2 . Set the manual aperture control ring to the desired
T /stop or set the apert ure needl e within the fi nder to
the desired T /stop.
Zooming and focus ing are made in the same manner as
in EE shooti ng.
Shooting with manual aperture co ntrol may be em-
ployed in the fol l owing cases:
• Obtaining spec ial effects
• Panning at very high speed
• Shoot ing a subject whose brightness cha nges rapidly
Note:
If you should want to make an exposure determinatio n
with a hand held meter instead of the built-in mete r in
the Scoopic 16M, you n eed only adjust the T/stop sca l e
of the camera to the same number indicated by the
f /stop scale of the meter. For example, if meter read s
f4, set camera dial to T /4. Your exposures will always
be perfect since all light loss f actors have already been
accounted for.
