The options described in the following table can help you determine the most
appropriate upgrade for your appliance.
Upgrade from
256 MB
(two 128-MB DIMMs
currently installed)
256 MB
(one 256-MB DIMM currently
installed)
512 MB
(four 128-MB DIMMs
currently installed)

Before You Begin

To upgrade memory in your appliance, you need the following:
Physical access to the appliance
A Phillips-head screwdriver
The appropriate number of Nokia memory upgrade kits, each of which
includes one 256-MB DIMM
Access to the appliance through Voyager or Lynx
Before you access the DIMM sockets, do the following:
Determine how much RAM is currently installed in your appliance by
using Voyager or Lynx to view the main page for the appliance.
Use Voyager or Lynx to perform an orderly shutdown of the appliance.

Upgrade Options
To 512 MB by adding one 256-MB DIMM
To 768 MB by adding two 256-MB DIMMs
To 1 GB by removing both of the installed DIMMs
and installing four 256-MB DIMMs
To 512 MB by adding one 256-MB DIMM
To 768 MB by adding two 256-MB DIMMs
To 1 GB by adding three 256-MB DIMMs
To 768 MB by removing two of the installed DIMMs
and installing two 256-MB DIMMs
To 1 GB by removing all of the installed DIMMs and
installing four 256-MB DIMMs
Replacing or Upgrading Memory
