The PIF filter circuit is composed of a capacity coupling,
double-tuned circuit which is formed by the tuner output
section and the PIF input section, output single tuned
circuit (T201 in Fig. 5) of HA1144, and the third PIF
output single tuned circuit (L207 in Fig. 5) of HA1167,
indicating the pass band characteristic which has a total of
four stages. Regarding the self-sound carrier wave (41.25
MHz), lower adjacent channel sound carrier wave (47.25
MHz), and upper adjacent channel picture carrier wave
(39.75 MHz), a necessary attenuation factor is obtained by
inserting a trap circuit in the PIF input section.
