7. HORIZONTAL DEFLECTION CIRCUIT
a) Horizontal APC, oscillation and drive circuit.
This circuit adopts a newly developed IC (HA1166Y).
This IC integrates the functions of phase detection,
filter circuit, oscillation, and drive. Thanks to the IC in
which many active elements all included, picture stabiliza-
tion, the responce characteristic, and reliability are greatly
enhanced.
(Circuit operation)
A block diagram is indicated in Fig. 9. Similar to
conventional horizontal circuit functions, the comparison
wave enters from (9), and the synchronizing signal enters

The oscillating system of HA1166Y is an RC oscillation. A

Operations of the horizontal output circuit is similar to
