Music Rest
(DGT2A only*)
* The DGT7A features a standard grand piano music
rest.
Setting the Music Rest

Carefully raise the music rest.

Pull out the two supports at the
bottom rear of the music rest.

Push the music rest back a little so
that it rests on the supports.
Putting Away the Music Rest

Pull the music rest forward a
little.

Close the two supports at the rear
of the music rest so that they sit
flat.

Carefully lower the music rest.

Lid

You can open the lid of the Disklavier GranTouch
in the same way as you would open the lid of a
grand piano. Two props (long and short) are
supplied. Use the longer prop to open the lid
wider so that the sound will be much clearer.
Make sure that the end of the prop is fitted in the
inner cup. Use the shorter stick to make a smaller
opening. In this case, fit the end of the prop in the
outer cup as shown.
