Function
The air deflector is installed at the top of the service subrack. When hot air flows out from the
top of the subrack, the air deflector can change its direction. This is to avoid affecting the heat
dissipation capabilities of the devices above the subrack.
1.1.4 Cabling and Air Filter Subrack
The cabling and air filter subrack is installed at the bottom of the service subrack. This topic
covers the appearance, dimensions, and function of the cabling and air filter subrack used in the
service subrack.
Appearance and Dimensions
The cabling and air filter subrack can be installed in a 19-inch or 23-inch cabinet with the
corresponding mounting ears.
