CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
LW Band output
Active low.
When LW is available:
This outputs a low level signal when the radio
band is set to LW in both the radio and tape
modes.
When LW is not available:
During tuner call in both radio and tape
modes, this outputs a low level signal when
the ''AUTO"' is ON, regardless of the band
switch.
Local/DX output
Local: high, DX: low
During
tuner call in both radio and tape
modes, this outputs a high level signa! when
LOCAL
the local switch is set ON.
Output for AGC Cut
} 60 AGC CUT
Active high.
Chip Enable for PLL
62
|CE-P
Outputs the serial data of the PLL IC, and CE
signal output.
DATA
Active high.
Data for PLL & Volume
Outputs
the
data
for
PLL
IC, electronic
volume and serial data.
Active high.
Clock-pulse for PLL & Volume
Outputs the clock (CLK) pulse for PLL IC,
electronic volume and serial data.
Active high.
Input Port Description
Operation Description
Reset input
Active iow.
Input signal for initialization or releasing the
STBY (standby) mode.
Key Return input
Active high.
Reel Pulse detection input

When this input signal is inverted from high
to
low
during
tape
winding,
the
fast-
forwarding/rewinding mode is released, then
the unit enters play mode.
Station Detector
Active high.

Used to search for broadcasting stations in
auto tuning mode, and for start detection for
ABSS search operation. And when this port
is at low level, the illumination of the signal
meter will go off.

Signal Meter input
AID input.
Lights up the 5-point bar-type level meter ac-
cording to the input voltage. This functions
only when SD is high.

External Reset input
Active high.
On the reset signal input, when
this input
signal is high, the unit is always initialized.
Standby Mode detection input
Active low, INT
After
interruption
occurs
or after reset is
released,
when
this port is low,
the unit
enters the standby mode.
After reset is released, when this port is high,
the standby mode is released.
Ignition Switch detection input
Active high. Goes high when the ignition key
is turned ON. If this input signal is low, power
is always OFF.
If this input signal is high,
switching the power between ON and OFF is
made possible.
However,
if the
power
switch
using
the
touch-sensor key is not used, power is turn-
ed ON when this input signal becomes high.
