VOLUME CONTROL knob
■ To mute the sound temporarily ■ Listening through headphones
LOUDNESS switch
Human ears are less sensitive to low frequencies when listening
at low volume levels. When the VOLUME CONTROL is set to a
low position, press the LOUDNESS switch to boost the low fre¬
quencies.

Enhances low frequencies.
' The LOUDNESS switch is less effective when the VOLUME
CONTROL is set to the center position or above.
SPEAKERS A and B switches
SPEAKERS
A, B OFF
: This position silences all speakers to permit private

use of headphones.
A ON
: Activates the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS
A terminals on the rear panel.
B
B ON
: Activates the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS
B terminals on the rear panel.
O
A, B ON
: Activates the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS
oON n DFF
A and B terminals simultaneously.
