About product liability
1 Scope of responsibility
Due to a defect in this product, we are not liable for any of the
following cases when a third party makes a claim for damages due to
this product or your product incorporating this product to damage to
a third party.
(1) In case the defect of this product has been caused for alteration of
this product or violation of the conditions regarding use, storage,
disposal, etc. specified by our company (It includes, but is not
limited to, the precautionary statements and warnings described in
the instruction manuals, catalogs, specifications, etc. of this
product.).
(2) In case this product is used for a product in which defects in this
product is high risk likely to cause harm to life and body, or likely
to a product in which there is a high risk of causing great property
damage. (For example, nuclear power, aerospace, transportation
machinery, medical equipment, and various safety devices.)
(3) In case the defect of this product cannot be recognized by the
scientific and technical level at the time of delivery of this product
to your company.
(4) In case the defect occurs based on your company's instructions
regarding the design.
(5) In case your company neglects to design the safety of your
product in consideration of the failure occurrence rate and failure
mode that are normally predicted.
(6) In case the defect is caused by manufacturing in accordance with
the standards set by the public institution that is obliged to comply
with it.
(7) In case the defect occurs after delivery to your company, without
due to the our products quality.

2 Limitations on the amount of damages
Due to a defect in this product, if this product or your product
incorporating this product causes damage to the life, body or property
of a third party (excluding this product or your product), in case the
third party makes a claim for damages to you, in case you notify us
immediately and, in consultation with us, you pay for it, you can claim
damages from us that have a considerable causal relationship with the
defect. The amount of compensation takes into consideration the
product, the nature and price of the product, and the degree of
responsibility of each company, the upper limit is the total amount
you have paid to us, be decided after consultation between the two
companies. Furthermore, if a third party makes a claim for damages
directly to us and we pay for it, for the amount that exceeds our
burden based on the previous paragraph, we can charge your
company.
