Note:
❏ You can check the service life of drive 1 and drive 2 with EPSON Total Disc Setup.

❏ When it is almost time to replace a drive, a message notifying you that it is almost time to
replace it is displayed once per day when you start up EPSON Total Disc Monitor.

Do not put your fingers inside the drive slots.

❏ Be sure to follow the instructions shown in the instruction manual of the drive when
replacing the drive.
❏ Both drive 1 and drive 2 must be installed. Otherwise the PP-100II will not operate.
❏ Both drive 1 and drive 2 must be the same type (BD drive/DVD drive). Otherwise the
PP-100 will not operate.
❏ Do not use other drives than the Epson exclusive optional drive. Otherwise the product
and the drive may be damaged.

❏ Do not replace the drives more than 40 times for each slot. Damage of the drive
connectors can destroy the drive and product.

Transporting Your Product

If you need to transport your product some distance, carefully prepare and repack it. Be
sure to use the original box and packing materials.
