Setting the recording mode

The MD recording mode can be set only in
stop mode.

Main unit only

Press the MENU key.

Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON-
TROL knob so that "MD REC
MODE" is displayed, then press
the SET key.
The currently set recording mode is
indicated.

Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON-
TROL knob so that the desired re-
cording mode is displayed.
Display when LP2 is selected

EX. BASS
"STEREO
: Stereo recording mode
(no indicator lit)
"LP2"
: Stereo LP2 mode
("LP2" lit)
"LP4"
: Stereo LP4 mode
("LP4" lit)
"MONO"
: Monaural LP mode
("MONO" lit)
VOLUME/
MULTI-CONTROL
MENU

"LP2" lit

Press the SET key.
The setting operation is complete if you
selected "STEREO" or "MONO" in the
above.
If you selected "LP2" or "LP4", the
stamping setting screen will be dis-
played. In this case, go to step 5.

Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON-
TROL knob to select "LP:STAMP
on" or "LP:STAMP off", then press
the SET key.
Select "on" when you want to display
"LP:" at the beginning of the track title.
Select "off" is you do not want to dis-
play it.
Display when "LP:STAMP on" is selected
