4.
Connect the free end of the C11 cable from the CD-ROM drive to the 50- pin output connector on the top
hot swap cage. The output connector is on the left when the cage is viewed from the back.
5.
Remove the C23 cable from the SCSI B controller connector and coil the cable up out of the way.
6.
Remove the C22 cable from channel 0 of the NetRAID card and connect it to SCSI B.
7.
Set the DIP switches on the back of the hot swap cages as shown below. Note the DIP switches are off when they are set to the left.
8.
Replace the LH Pro cover and bezel.
You have now completed hardware installation on the LH Pros and are ready to proceed to Part 2: "Setting up the
HP Storage System/6".
Installing the HP NetRAID Adapter
You are now ready to connect the HP NetRAID Adapter to the battery backup module, and then to install the HP
NetRAID Adapter (model number D4943A). The battery backup module is a mezzanine card already in place on the
HP NetRAID Adapter.
To install the HP NetRAID Adapter at Systems A and B:
1.
Plug the connector on the wire leading from the lower left corner of the battery backup module into the
connector as shown below.
