other board must match this configuration exactly if card-to-card
interleaving is to take place.)
NOTE
There is no special order for interspersing banks of 64
MB and 256 MB DIMMs on memory boards. Any
arrangement is allowed.
Board-to-board interleaving offers enhanced performance, and is
recommended. Figures 2-4 through 2-7 show memory configurations for
eight, 16, 24, and 32 DIMMs using two interleaved memory boards. The
diagram assumes that corresponding banks on each board both hold the
same size of DIMM module.
