3. Refer to Figures 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5, and 2-6. Locate the slot
where you will install the DIMM, and spread the two DIMM
retaining clips outward. See Figure 2-10.

4. Align the notches on the DIMM with the notches on the socket.
5. Hold the DIMM so that the front edge faces straight down into the
connector (at a 90 angle to the memory board).
6. Insert the DIMM carefully into the desired slot. The retaining
clips will grasp the DIMM automatically if it is inserted properly.
