Icons
Purpose
Connect a telephone line to the internal modem
using a standard RJ-11 telephone plug. The
modem is only available on North American models
of the PenCentra 130.
Allows you to suspend and resume system
operation.
Used when the PenCentra is installed in an
approved optional docking device. The contacts
allow system access via PS/2 keyboard, USB-Host,
RS-232C serial input, and DC input.
Allows the connection of a 5-volt PS/2-style
keyboard, mouse, or barcode reader. Note that the
system must be suspended prior to installing a
device to this port.
Connect an external power source such as the AC
Adapter or the optional Auto Adapter.
Connect Universal Serial Bus-compliant devices
Connect mono headphones or powered external
speakers. The internal speaker is disabled when
you plug in external headphones or speakers.
Connect an external device with a serial interface.
Primarily used to connect the synchronization cable
between the PenCentra 130 and your desktop
system. (Note that this icon appears on the inside
of the serial port door). Pin 9 of the serial port
supports 5-volt, 500 mA maximum current.
