DVD Playback

Skip (Forward)

Skip (Forward): While you are playing a disc, this function jumps
forward to the beginning of the next chapter and automatically starts
playing that chapter.
On discs or titles that do not have chapter settings, playback skips
forward to the next title.
On some discs, the skip functions are disabled.
Playback skips forwards one chapter for each time the button is
pressed.
When the last chapter is reached, playback returns to the start of the
disc.

While a disc is playing, press the SKIPà button (DVD player:
, Remote control: SKIPà).

Skip (Reverse)

Skip (Reverse): While you are playing a disc, this function jumps
back to the beginning of the current chapter and automatically starts
playing the chapter again.
On titles or discs that do not have chapter settings, playback skips
back to the beginning of the current title or disc.
On some discs, the skip functions are disabled.

While a disc is playing, press the À SKIP button (DVD player:
, Remote control: À SKIP).
The TV screen and front panel displays for this function are the
same as those for the Skip (Forward) function described above.
If you press the À SKIP button and playback begins, and you
then press the À SKIP button again within 10 seconds, playback
returns to the beginning of the previous chapter.
