    Cordless handset Display This displays messages and prompts to help you use the cordless handset. Press and then to scroll through the most recent calls made and received on the cordless handset (received calls will only appear if you have Caller ID). If you have Caller ID, you can hold down to access the Caller ID list in the fax machine.

The answering system is set at the factory to allow each caller a maximum of 4 minutes to leave a message. If desired, you can change this setting to 15, 30, or 60 seconds.
