3_ Press the Read key to turn
on the laser beam; the laser
indicator blinks (Fig 20).,

laser at the target B

indicates the distance AC to

measuring reference point

position A, aim the laser dot
perpendicularly to the target C

display the calculated length
of BC in the lowest row of the
screen; the distance AC will
be displayed at the same time
in the second row (Fig.,22).
9, Press the Read key to make
a new measurement.,
NOTES:
The distance AC should be
shorter than the hypotenuse
(AB); otherwise the LCD will
display "Err008" reminding
you to re-measure the
distance AC

When taking the two measurements,
make sure they are taken from the
same starting point (A) and the second measurement
is perpendicular
to
the target C. Taking the measurements
correctly will help result in the most
accurate calculated distance
