Scanning a thick booklet
After scanning a thick booklet, open the ADF and verify that the ADF Hinge was returned to original
position in order to prevent the rear of the ADF from being raised.
CAUTION
!
When scanning with the ADF open, do not look directly at the exposure lamp.
Direct eye exposure can cause eye fatigue or eye injury.
When scanning a thick original, do not use excessive force to press it against the Platen Glass.
The Glass may break and cause injuries.
Sending Non-Standard Size Originals
When transmitting non-standard size original(s), the
machine may perform Rotate transmission
automatically and not transmit the portion of the
original that exceeds the standard size ("P" portion).
Rotation XMT is not carried out in
Monitor Dial transmission.
When an oversized original is sent to
another machine, it may be reduced
in accordance with the other party's
recording paper size.
